The KRF-120II/C All in One CO2 Heat Pump represents a perfect balance of efficiency and capacity within mid-to-large-scale CO2 heat pump series. This model is engineered to meet medium to high-volume hot water demands, utilizing CO2 as an eco-friendly refrigerant, combined with advanced variable frequency technology. It consistently delivers hot water up to 75°C, significantly reducing operational costs and environmental impact. This device has the functions of heating, cooling and generating hot water at the same time. Its reliable performance make it an excellent solution for replacing traditional boilers and achieving green heating.
This heat pump exclusively utilizes R744 (CO2) as its refrigerant. CO2 is a natural substance with an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of 0, meaning it does not harm the ozone layer, and a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 1, which is significantly lower than conventional refrigerants. This makes it an incredibly eco-friendly choice, as it is non-toxic, non-flammable, and ensures no pollution to the environment throughout its lifecycle.
By leveraging transcritical thermodynamic cycles, CO₂ heat pumps achieve a coefficient of performance (COP) >4.0 under standard conditions, with minimal efficiency losses at low ambient temperatures. Compared to conventional heating systems, they reduce energy consumption by >50%, thereby enhancing the overall energy efficiency of thermal systems.
The KRF-120IIC is engineered to deliver high-temperature hot water efficiently. It is capable of achieving a maximum water outlet temperature of up to 75 ℃. This high output temperature makes it exceptionally suitable for applications requiring hotter water, such as radiator-based heating systems in residential or commercial buildings.
With an effective operating range in ambient temperatures from −35 ℃ to 20 ℃, the KRF-120IIC is highly adaptable and suitable for heating needs in various climatic regions, including those with prolonged cold seasons. This wide operational flexibility ensures its performance across different geographical locations and seasonal changes.
The KRF-120IIC is built with high-quality, durable components to ensure long-term reliability and performance. Key components include a jacketed water heat exchanger for efficient heat transfer, an aluminum fin for copper tube air heat exchanger for optimal heat absorption from the air, and a semi-enclosed reciprocating (variable frequency)/R744 compressor which is specifically designed for CO2 refrigerant to ensure stable and efficient compression.

A: Ordinary heat pumps can only produce hot water up to around 60 ℃, and the heating effect is poor when it is cold in winter. The CO ₂ heat pump is like a 'super heat pump', capable of producing hot water above 90 ℃, and can also work stably at -20 ℃ in winter, making it more environmentally friendly. (The refrigerant used is natural carbon dioxide)
A: Conventional heat pumps may experience performance degradation at -10 °C, whereas CO₂ heat pumps maintain normal operation down to -25 °C (as validated in Nordic regions and Canada). However, efficiency may marginally decline under prolonged extreme weather.
A: Unlike standard heat pumps (struggle below -10°C), CO₂ models operate reliably to -25°C.
