Key Features
1. Continuous Hot Water Supply
Heat pumps provide a consistent supply of hot water regardless of weather conditions—whether it is cloudy, snowing, or nighttime—and do not require direct exposure to sunlight.
2. Enhanced Safety
Designed to European standards, our heat pumps ensure both operational safety and excellent thermal conductivity.
3. Cost-Effective
Compared to combustion-based systems, heat pumps are far more cost-effective. Higher system efficiency translates into greater long-term energy savings.
4. Intelligent Digital Controller
An intelligent digital controller allows for precise regulation of hot water temperature and operating schedules.
5. 75% Reduction in Energy Consumption
Heat pumps are exceptionally efficient because they work by transferring heat rather than generating it. They produce more energy than they consume, leading to significant cost savings.
6. Versatile Applications
Heat pumps serve as an ideal heating and hot water solution for a wide range of settings—from residential homes and swimming pools to various commercial facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does a heat pump water heater work, and how does it save energy?
A heat pump water heater uses renewable thermal energy from the ambient air to heat water. It operates on a principle similar to that of a refrigerator or air conditioner, but in reverse. Since the majority of the heating energy is drawn from the external environment—with only a small fraction coming from electricity—heat pump water heaters are exceptionally energy-efficient. For instance, consuming 1 kW of electricity can yield 3.5 to 4 kW of heat. This significantly reduces the amount of electrical energy required to heat water, thereby saving energy.
2. Why should I purchase a heat pump water heater?
Heat pump water heaters utilize proven, highly efficient energy-saving technology to provide hot water for residential use. Switching to a heat pump water heater can reduce your water-heating-related electricity costs by 60% to 75%.
3. How much does a heat pump water heater cost?
While the initial purchase price of a heat pump water heater is generally higher than that of a standard electric water heater, the unit typically pays for itself within about three years through substantial reductions in household energy consumption—meaning you start saving money almost immediately.
4. What is the lifespan of a heat pump?
With proper maintenance, a heat pump can last a lifetime. When purchasing one, you should consider several factors to ensure you select the right model for your home—for example, checking the unit's power rating. You should also verify whether it comes with a warranty; most manufacturers offer 10–15 years of coverage. Additionally, the unit’s capacity should be sufficient to meet your home's cooling (or heating) requirements.
5. How can I adjust the temperature and settings on a Leomon heat pump water heater?
Leomon heat pump water heaters offer greater interactivity than standard electric models. They are equipped with a control panel that allows users to easily select their preferred water temperature and operating mode.
6. What kind of maintenance does a heat pump water heater require?
Unlike conventional electric water heaters, heat pump water heaters utilize an air filter that requires regular cleaning to ensure efficient operation. Other maintenance requirements are similar to those of standard electric water heaters. 7. Where can I install a heat pump water heater?
Heat pump water heaters can be installed in a variety of locations—from unheated garages to heated utility rooms, or even on patios and balconies. Key factors to consider include available space, noise levels, ambient air temperature, and the dimensions (size/height) of the unit. Please feel free to call us for more information.
8. Do heat pumps consume a lot of electricity?
Heat pumps consume very little electricity. They are highly efficient and, because they run on electricity, are a much cleaner alternative to fossil fuels. Let’s take a look at how a heat pump works and why it is so efficient: a heat pump is a device designed to transfer heat.
9. Are heat pumps noisy?
The outdoor unit of the system contains a fan that draws air in and circulates it over internal components, which creates a humming sound during operation. However, the noise level is significantly lower than that of an outdoor unit for a split-system air conditioner.
